Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit sbxedge.com, including the automatizzo pages, or contact the controllers using the contact details on the website, in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR).
The data controller
There are two data controllers, each for its own scope. For the sbxedge.com website, the controller is SBX Edge LLC, which you can contact at info@sbxedge.com. For the automatizzo pages, such as sbxedge.com/automatizzo, and for communications initiated from them, the controller is EVISP LTD, a Cypriot company with registration number HE 499624 and registered office at Dimou Irodotou 20, Kato Platres 4815, Limassol, which you can contact at info@automatizzo.io. In the rest of this notice, “the controller” means the company responsible for the page you visit or for the communication.
What we process and why
Browsing data. The systems that deliver and protect this website may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, the date and time of your visit, browser, operating system and any errors. This information is used to deliver the website, keep it working and prevent abuse. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in the availability and security of the website under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Website language. We use the country estimated from your IP address, as provided by Vercel, to select the initial language: Italian for Italy, San Marino and Vatican City, and English in all other cases. We do not request your GPS location. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the website in a relevant language (Article 6(1)(f)). Your manual choice takes precedence over the country estimate.
Information you send by email. If you contact us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message, such as your name and contact details. We use it to read and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to other communications (Article 6(1)(f)).
Where necessary, data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims on the basis of the relevant legitimate interest.
Your choices
You can browse the website without registering or completing any forms. Technical data needed for communication is transmitted as you browse. Contacting us is optional; without essential contact details and information, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry. Please share only what is necessary and avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed.
Cookies and tracking
The website does not use advertising tools, profiling cookies or visitor behaviour analytics. Fonts and visual assets are served by the website itself. The hosting infrastructure may use strictly technical mechanisms to deliver the service and protect it against abuse.
When you select IT or EN, we save your preference in the functional cookie sbx_language for 12 months. It contains only the language code and remembers your choice on future visits; it is not used for tracking or advertising. You can change your choice using the language selector or delete the cookie in your browser settings.
The controller does not use your browsing activity on this website to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Service providers and data transfers
Data may be processed by people authorised by the controller and by service providers needed to operate the website and handle communications, including hosting, IT security and email providers. It may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law.
The website is hosted on Vercel. Providing the service may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Vercel explains its roles and the applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses for relevant transfers, in its Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Notice. For information about the safeguards that apply to your data, write to the contact address of the relevant controller given above.
How long we keep data
Technical data is retained for as long as needed for operational and security purposes, taking into account the nature of the logs and any need to investigate faults or abuse. Communications are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. Any longer retention period depends on applicable legal obligations or the need to protect legal rights, and is limited to the data required for those purposes.
Your rights
Where the GDPR provides for these rights, you can request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to the contact address of the relevant controller given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
